EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Despite last week’s foiled terrorist attack in Vienna during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, Stephanie Bonenberger and Hope Mills are packing their bags and heading to London for Swift’s concerts.

The shows in London are the first since the cancelled shows in Vienna.

Bonenberger and Mills have seen Swift in concert before, and they are going to Swift’s concert in London on Tuesday.

“I’m really excited to get to see London from basically a local,” Mills says.

“I go to England very so often. My grandmother is English, so London is one of my favorite cities,” Bonenberger says. “I am super excited to go back and bring Hope.”

Thursday night marks the first of five concerts at Wembley Stadium. Last week, however, Swifities around the world came to Vienna for shows, but they were cancelled after a 19-year-old Austrian admitted he wanted to kill people outside the concert venue.

Despite what happened last week, the thought of whether to go to London never came to mind.

Bonenberger and Mills aren’t nervous about anything happening in London.

They’re looking forward to an entertaining show with the music and lyrics that connect with them.

“I think I saw Taylor Nation posted that they actually are having more merchandise stands throughout the city to do hopefully I think avoid people all going to Wembley to get everything,” Bonenberger says. “I think they’re trying to help kind of navigate with the crowds a little bit and disperse them out. I feel safe.”

“I think if anything it’s just common sense, like being street smart, knowing that you’re in a place that is not your hometown, knowing there are large crowds, and there are always people around kind of thing,” Mills says.
