HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Greenville Fire Department has retrieved a submerged vehicle from a river on the Muhlenberg and Hopkins County line.

The Greenville Fire Department took to Facebook to announce the incident. The post says they had boats in the water and called a tow truck to help get the vehicle out of the water.

Officials with Muhlenberg County dispatch say the vehicle appeared to be in the water for some time.

No driver was found in the vehicle. The Greenville Fire Department has not said how the vehicle ended up in the water or who it belongs to.
