HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – An Evansville man is accused of threatening his granddaughter and a car full of juveniles with a gun after she missed her curfew.

Evansville Police say the reporter was a chaperone for a group of juveniles who were allegedly spending their day at Eastland Mall.

When being taken home, it is said the female juvenile was speaking with her grandfather/guardian, Danny Browning, when he allegedly threatened her for missing curfew.

Upon arrival to her home, police say Browning approached the vehicle with a firearm and pointed it at the chaperone as well as the juveniles in the vehicle, threatening to kill them.

Police say when Browning and the female juvenile entered the home he said, “Thanks a lot, because of you I might be going to jail.”

A search warrant was issued where police say they found and collected eleven firearms that matched the descriptions given by the reporter.

Browning was booked at the Vanderburgh County Jail.
