Finalists named to receive over $240,000 in grants

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) — A Tri-State organization has named the finalists for more than $240,000 in grants.

Impact 100 Owensboro announced the finalists Thursday.

Impact 100 Owensboro consists of at least 100 women who contribute donations to charities within the community.

Ten non-profits were announced for consideration for a range of grants.

The grants are meant to reach underserved populations and highlight unmet needs in the community.

NextGen Grant Finalists ($6,700):

• Beverly’s Hearty Slice
• GRADSA-Green River Area Down Syndrome Association (GRADSA)
• Green River Asset Building Coalition

Residual Grant Finalists ($34,000):

• Kentucky K9 Search and Rescue Foundation
• Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center

$100,000 Grant Finalists:

• Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum
• Help Office of Owensboro
• H.L. Neblett Community Center
• Opportunity Center of Owensboro
• Tucker’s Treehouse
