HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Webster County High School was one of 50 high schools across the country to receive $5,000 from T-Mobile.

T-Mobile officials announced earlier this month a $2 million grand prize football field technology makeover called T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights giving small-town high schools across the country a chance to win big.

Officials also state 16 finalists will receive $25,000 and 300 schools will receive $5,000 each throughout the competition’s entry period to support high school football programs nationwide. The high school is one of the first of 300 schools to receive $5,000.

Officials say Webster County High School has entered with the hopes of winning the $2 million prize package.
