Authorities pursuing a hit-and-run in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Emergency crews are responding to a hit-and-run on Garvin and Virginia streets.

Dispatch confirms a hit-and-run was called in at 6:04 p.m. and crews are on scene.

Sergeant Deeg says they were responding to a pedestrian struck in the hit-and-run however, upon arriving on scene, both the pedestrian and the vehicle were nowhere to be found.
