EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Evansville residents had the chance to voice their concerns directly to city leaders on Thursday night during this quarter’s Traveling City Hall.

Mayor Stephanie Terry and other leaders at the Howell Wetlands Shelter. Before the meeting opened to public comment, Mayor Terry provided updates from her office on programs brought about for the revitalization of neighborhoods across the community.

Mayor terry also offered insight into an increase in the affordable housing trust fund, offering help not only to incoming developers, but to residents themselves.

After the mayor spoke, groups broke off and talked with individual city leaders. One issue brought up was the lack of public transportation with all the construction taking place in Evansville.

The last Traveling City Hall will be held in early December.
