Carroll County, AL – A 39-year-old woman from Oxford, Alabama, identified as Brandy Rodgers, was pronounced dead at the scene of a collision on Interstate 20 in Georgia. Southside police arrest five teens for vehicle break-ins
ETOWAH COUNTY, AL (WBMA) — In, Southside, AL, The Southside Police Department have arrested five teens on multiple counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle. This all began, Sunday, July 14, around 6:00 a.m., when officers responded to the area of Hall Drive and Sturkietown Road on a report of multiple vehicles being broken into. The teens, ranging from ages 15 to 17, reportedly stole various forms of property and a firearm. They were all charged through the juvenile court system.
Woman charged with leading police on 100 mph chase that ended with crash into gas pumps
A woman was jailed early Sunday after a high-speed pursuit from Gadsden to Rainbow City ended with her vehicle crashing into gas pumps at a convenience store and gas station, igniting a fire. According to a news release from the Gadsden Police Department, officers were called to a report of a “suspicious vehicle” in the Clubview area. They attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled. The officers gave chase and were joined on Rainbow Drive...

The Anniston Police Department is still seeking assistance – in locating a missing 19-year-old – Bradley Allan Smyth. Anniston Police have stated, Smyth has made contact with several family members, letting them know that he is indeed “safe and well”. His current whereabouts are unknown, BUT he is known to frequent the Blue Mountain area of Anniston; Smyth has distinguishing scars that may aid in identifying him: one on his right shin and another on his left arm.
