ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) - No injuries were reported in a house fire Saturday evening in Escanaba. According to Escanaba Public Safety, quick action by officers kept the fire contained to the second floor. Northern Lights YMCA exploring options to move pool
ESCANABA — The Northern Lights YMCA in Escanaba is expected to move the location of its pool in 2026. Back in 2021, the YMCA was relocated to the former M-TEC facility on the Bay College Campus, a move made possible through a contribution from the Hannahville Indian Community. ESCANABA — Elvera Rhoda Segorski, life-long resident of the Escanaba area died June 26, 2024, just 51 days before her 107th birthday. She was born in Ford River Township, August 16, 1917, to Rhoda Jane (Irving) and Oscar D. Anderson. She married Joseph Clemance Segorski, of Alpena, Mich., December 31, 1936.
