Mid America Veterans Museum plans expansion
The Mid America Veterans Museum, previously known as the St. Charles County Veterans Museum, hopes to expand through a new location on 1019 Bryan Road in O’Fallon, Missouri. “Our goal is eventually to build another building off-site from here that we will own ourselves because right now we're renting from the city,” Executive Director Nina DeAngelo said.
The 2024 New Melle Festival Queen - Katie Thwing
On Friday, June 7th, Katie Thwing was crowned the 71st New Melle Festival Queen. She and six other candidates participated in this year's pageant. Katie is the daughter of Richele and Tim Thwing and will receive a $750 scholarship. She is a senior at Francis Howell High School and intends to pursue a degree in Business Leadership at the University of Central Missouri. Aisling Med Spa sponsored Katie.
The 71st New Melle Festival Baby Contest Winners
The Annual New Melle Festival Baby Contest was held on Saturday, June 8. The contest was sponsored by Ages and Stages Learning Center and Nicole Follmer, Sales Advisor at Blondin Realty. Nicole emceed the competition, and the New Melle Queen Candidates served as this year’s judges. Thank you to Pomp Event and Rentals for the beautiful backdrop.
