2 hospitalized after Wednesday morning crash

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — An early morning crash temporarily closed the contraflow lane on I-75 at Dixie Highway.

According to the West Carrollton Police Department, two people were taken to the hospital for injuries following the crash, which occurred around 1 a.m.

The Dayton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that the incident occurred as a wrong-way driver in the southbound lanes crashed into another vehicle.

The contraflow lane is back open.

The condition of the two people hurt in the crash is unknown at this time.
