Sam Pittman Says Arkansas's Focus in 2024 Is To 'Embrace the Hog'
We officially have the quote of 2024's Talking Season, courtesy of Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman. The Razorbacks will be embracing the hog this season. I wish somebody had asked a follow-up on what this really means. Make Pittman explain exactly how he and his players will embrace the hog. Does every man have to embrace his own hog or can multiple teammates embrace the hog with one another? If this is the team's focus this season, we need to know as much as we can.
The best-case scenario for Arkansas football in 2024
There's not a lot of hype going around Arkansas football these days. After a 4-8 season, Arkansas is an afterthought with Texas and Oklahoma coming to the SEC, and with teams like Georgia, the favorite for another SEC and national championship. With no one on the national stage talking about...
Pittman praises leadership heading into 2024 season
Many felt one of the issues with Arkansas last season was the lack of leadership, but Sam Pittman feels that could be one of the strengths of this year’s team. Pittman praised quarterback Taylen Green and others for the leadership they have provided this offseason. Green transferred in from Boise State at semester and has impressed Pittman. The transfer portal where the roster flips over more than in the past has made finding leadership a little trickier than maybe 5-10 years ago. But Pittman has seen some good leadership thus far from this group.
Team Arkansas gears up for The Basketball Tournament
ROLAND, Ark. — Every summer, a team of mainly Razorback alumni plays in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), and a $1 million prize is on the line. Last year, hoop Hog legend JD Notae passed on the chance to play with Team Arkansas. He wasn’t going to make that mistake again.

Arkansas Gameplay on EA Sports College Football 25
Monday at 3 p.m. (CDT) on the nose, like many college football fans across the country, I turned on my Playstation 5 and opened up EA Sports College Football 25. It has been a disappointing 11 years since the last time the game was released. Here are a few things I have noticed about the game and about Arkansas.
Hogs, Tigers, and the Rivalry that Divides the fanbase of Arkansas
DALLAS, T.X. (PIG TRAIL NATION) – If anyone knows about the history of Arkansas football, it’s Eli Drinkwitz. While the current Missouri coach was born in Oklahoma, his family moved to Alma when he was young. When Drinkwitz got into coaching at the high school level, his career also began in that same River Valley town back in 2005.
