Save the embarrassment and double-check those reservations
Last weekend I made a whopper when clicking for an online reservation. My husband and I were meeting friends for dinner at the Water Street Kitchen and Bar in Wiscasset, Maine. I said I'd make reservations. I Googled the restaurant on my phone. It popped right up, or so I thought. I reserved a table for four at 6 p.m. I was sort of shocked that all times between 5 and 7 p.m. were available, but figured that it being a week ahead was the reason.

Five Books You’ll Love
Browsing a bookshop not long ago, a bookseller raved about a newly released novel. She could not say enough good things about the book. So, I bought it. Well, despite her high praise and the hundreds of stellar reviews online, it was not the book for me. I gave up on it… My philosophy? Life is too short to lumber through a book I don’t enjoy.

Good morning Woolwich, ME from your animal control officer:) With summer well under way I wanted to provide some helpful reminders for our pets. If you’re unaware we do have a leash law in Woolwich which is put in place for the safety of your animal and others. This means your dogs must stay on your property or be under your control, however things happen and pets escape once in a while, especially this time of year and my priority is to help you! So please contact me immediately if this happens so we can spread the word and get your pet home safely! Please call or text with any questions or concerns (I generally only use Facebook for lost or found pets so I may not see messages or comments). Thank you all so much and have a lovely day!
