Death reported at Camp Hill prison for 2nd time in 3 days
A 50-year-old man died at SCI Camp Hill this week, officials said on Wednesday, one day after announcing another man was killed by his cellmate. Two inmates die at SCI Camp Hill within 24 hours
CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) – The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections says a second SCI Camp Hill inmate died hours before after another inmate was killed. Inmate Bryan Conrad, 50, was found unresponsive in his cell on July 1 and pronounced deceased at 3 p.m. despite life-saving measures. The Cumberland County Coroner’s office says Conrad, who was serving a 4 to 8-year sentence for Failure to Comply with Registration of Sexual Offenders Requirements, died by suicide. He had been at SCI Camp Hill since April 6, 2023.
