Death reported at Camp Hill prison for 2nd time in 3 days
A 50-year-old man died at SCI Camp Hill this week, officials said on Wednesday, one day after announcing another man was killed by his cellmate. Bryan Conrad, 50, was found unresponsive in his cell on Monday, the Department of Corrections said in a Wednesday news release. He was pronounced dead at 3 p.m. His cause and manner of death have not been released.

Two inmates die at SCI Camp Hill within 24 hours
CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) – The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections says a second SCI Camp Hill inmate died hours before after another inmate was killed. Inmate Bryan Conrad, 50, was found unresponsive in his cell on July 1 and pronounced deceased at 3 p.m. despite life-saving measures. The Cumberland County Coroner’s office says Conrad, who was serving a 4 to 8-year sentence for Failure to Comply with Registration of Sexual Offenders Requirements, died by suicide. He had been at SCI Camp Hill since April 6, 2023.

Sex Offender Bryan Wayne Conrad Dies In PA Prison
Bryan Wayne Conrad of Mechanicsburg died at 3 p.m. on July 1, 2024, Superintendent Gourley explained in the release. Conrad "was found unresponsive in his cell [...] Prison staff immediately responded and provided life-saving measures until facility medical personnel arrived. MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — After six years of operation, a family-owned brewery in Cumberland County recently announced that it will be closing at the end of this summer. A locally operated brewery with a taproom at 4830 Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg, named Mellow Mink Brewing, announced that they would be closing down at some point later this summer.
3 YAIAA players named to Pennsylvania coaches' all-state team

York-Adams League softball trio selected to Pennsylvania all-state team
South Western softball stars Jayda Koontz and Kinsley Proepper joined Dover's Kendall Noel as the York-Adams League's three honorees on Pennsylvania's all-state teams. The selections were revealed Friday by the Pennsylvania High School Softball Coaches Association. All six classifications recognized a Player and Pitcher of the Year, as well as first and second teams.
