Ted's Fish Fry celebrates 75 years with 75 cent sandwiches across Capital Region
CAPITAL REGION, NY (WRGB) — A Capital Region staple restaurant is celebrating a milestone anniversary this week, Ted’s Fish Fry has been in business for 75 years. To honor the milestone, the line has been out the door all day at the Watervliet location for the 75 cent fish fry sandwich being offered.

Cycle the Erie Canal: Riders embark on annual 400-mile journey from Buffalo to Albany
Rochester, N.Y. — More than 500 cyclists are taking part in an incredible summer journey along the Erie Canal. This week, the group is traveling the entire 400-mile route from Buffalo to Albany for the 26th annual Cycle the Erie Canal bike tour. Monday, we caught them passing through Genesee Valley Park ventured from Medina to Fairport.
Rensselaer Announces City and Summer Jam Concert Series
The city of Rensselaer, NY, has two separate concert series on tap this summer. The first, the Rensselaer City Concert Series, began on June 17 and will last until July 29 at Riverfront Park. The second, the Summer Jam Concert Series, began on June 26 and will last until August 7 at the North End Firehouse on Washington Avenue. Each concert for both series is weekly from 6 pm to 8 pm.
