On Wednesday (July 24), CBS News shared police bodycam footage involving New York State Supreme Court Justice Erin Gall, who could be seen on camera threatening to shoot Black teenagers after a fight broke out at a high school graduation party she was attending in New Hartford, N.Y. in 2022. The viral footage was released by the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct this month. The 2022 incident led to Gall's suspension, and a judicial watchdog panel ruled that she should be removed from office for the offensive remarks.

UPDATE: West Carthage helicopter crash kills pilot
WEST CARTHAGE, New York (WWNY) - State police say the man flying a small, private helicopter which crashed in West Carthage early Saturday morning has died. Eyewitnesses tell 7NEWS they heard the helicopter in the air, and it sounded like the engine was “sputtering.” It flew a little bit more and then witnesses say the engine quit, there was silence and the helicopter fell roughly 50 feet into a wooded, swampy area between Bridge and Liberty Streets.

Pink Chou Chou ($3.90) went to the lead and was first to the quarter in :29.0. As they reached the backstretch Royal Mission (Scott Zeron) took over the lead and led to the half in :58.3. She continued to control things and was first to three-quarters in 1:27.2.

Croghan Man Charged with Criminal Contempt
VILLAGE OF CROGHAN-A 29 year old Croghan man was arrested early Saturday morning following an alleged domestic dispute in the Village of Croghan that reportedly occurred on Friday. New York State Police from the Lowville Barracks charged Daniel P. Monnat with one count of Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree-Disobeying a Court Order, a Class A misdemeanor. Monnat’s arrest status was listed as “central arraignment” and the incident was pending investigation as of Saturday morning.

Lewis County woman faces numerous charges
CROGHAN, New York (WWNY) - The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday that it has arrested a 43 year old Croghan woman on several charges. In a press release, deputies said Nicole Lyndaker violated a Lewis County family court ‘stay away’ order of protection in three separate incidents in the towns of Croghan, New Bremen and Martinsburg.
