Teen found shot under bridge in DTLA
LOS ANGELES – A 19-year-old man is in the hospital Wednesday after he was shot near the border between downtown Los Angeles and Boyle Heights. Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a shots fired call around 11 p.m. Tuesday to First and Myers streets where the victim told officers he was walking under the nearby First Street Bridge when he heard gunshots and turned to run away.

LOS ANGELES – A 29-year-old man was shot in the stomach in downtown Los Angeles and police Saturday are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Division responded to a shots fired call around 11 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Seventh Street and Stanford Avenue.

Rash of Burglaries Terrifying Residents
Residents are on edge as a fifth home has been burglarized in the west valley in the last two weeks. A home on Rubio Avenue in Encino was hit last night. This follows two burglaries in Woodland Hills on July 12 in the 4500 block of Del Moreno and 4400 block of Winnetka, another home in Encino the same night in the 16000 block of Morrison Street, and a home in the 4900 block of Edgerton Street in Encino that was hit twice – July 11 and 15.
Man arrested for punching passenger on LA Metro bus
A man’s alleged outburst on an LA Metro bus landed him in jail Friday morning. Just before 9 a.m., Los Angeles police officers responded to Sunset Boulevard near Bronson Avenue, where the bus driver had pulled over directly in front of Sunset Bronson Studios, home to KTLA 5 News and Netflix headquarters.
Woman bitten by K-9 files lawsuit against LA County Sheriff's Department
A woman has filed a lawsuit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department after she says her hand was permanently disfigured when she was bitten by a K-9.Ramirez did not speak but she showed reporters her scars at a press conference outside the Hall of Justice in downtown L.A.
