GREENVILLE – The Village Green Health Campus will hold its weekly Hot Dog Drive-Thru on July 5. This week’s specialty dog is the All-American. For only $5 you get this hot dog, chips, cookie and a drink. All proceeds benefit The Walk to End Alzheimers.
New Jubie’s Creamery ice cream shop opens in Troy.
TROY — Jubie’s Creamery, a local ice cream shop throughout the Dayton area, has opened in Troy. Jubie’s Creamery is owned by Stacey, Fred, and daughter Julie Domicone, who opened their third creamery at 79 Foss Way on Monday, July 1. The owners established their first Jubie’s Creamery in Fairborn, in July 2018; their second creamery opened in Moraine, in May 2022.

There are several local cities and townships hosting parades and festivals this week in honor of Independence Day. Here are some of those events:. Light Up Lebanon: A parade in the downtown area kicks off Lebanon’s Independence Day celebration at 4 p.m. July 3. It is following by events from 6-10 p.m. at Colonial Park West. White Castle in Trotwood to become 24-hour operation on weekends
As White Castle is strengthening its “Night Castle” branding, a location in the Dayton region is planning to expand its hours to accommodate late-night Cravers. Tommy Loveberry, White Castle’s regional director in Cincinnati, said the Trotwood location has plans to be open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays before the summer ends.
