Multiple suspects responsible for several West Monroe vehicle burglaries; one suspect in custody

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

OUACHITA PARISH, La. (KTVE/KARD)– On July 17, 2024, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies responded to several vehicle burglaries in the Knoll Creek neighborhood, off of Good Hope Road, in West Monroe, La.

According to authorities, the burglaries were from unsecured vehicles, with the suspects only taking money. Investigators with the OPSO were later able to identify the suspects responsible for the burglaries, 21-year-old Lawrence Chisolm from West Monroe was one of the suspects.

According to deputies. Chisolm was located and booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on July 22, 2024, and charged with six counts of Burglary. This case is still under investigation.
