West Orange Residents Celebrate 4th of July at the Food Truck & Music Festival

WEST ORANGE, NJ – It was a hot and steamy Independence Day, but residents enjoyed the festivities at the West Orange Food Truck & Musical Festival in Rooney Circle.

The fun began at 11:30 a.m. when the bands started playing and the Food Trucks began feeding the crowd.

Children had a great time at the Kidz Fun Zone, which featured bouncy castles for children to jump in -- including the Circular Combo, Obstacle Course, Bungee Run, Dolphin Slide and Toy Town. The water in the Dolphin Slide was perfect for cooling off.

Throughout the day, Carnaby Street Band, Soul Cruisers Band and Jake's Rockin' Country Band were playing great songs and DJ Flo was spinning fun records in between.

The United States’ 248 ^th Independence Day is on the books, and soon plans will be underway for the big 250 ^th in two years!
