2024 Early Outlook For SEC Football Teams: Mississippi State
You can say this about Zach Arnett's tenure as head football coach at Mississippi State. It was longer than that of Mike Price at Alabama. Things happen, sometimes very bad things, and such was the case in Starkville when Mike Leach died suddenly following the 2022 regular season. He was replaced by his defensive coordinator, Arnett, but after Mississippi State went 5-7, 1-7 in the Southeastern Conference, in 2023, the change was made. That change was to bring in an offensive man, and the Bulldogs got one of the nation's most accomplished offensive coordinators in Jeff Lebby. Lebby was brought in from Oklahoma, where his offense led the Big 12 in scoring at 41.7 ppg. (Earlier he had been OC at Ole Miss.)
Indiana State Pitcher Commits to Mississippi State
STARKVILLE, Miss. — Jacob Pruitt is the newest member of the Mississippi State Baseball roster. MSU head coach Chris Lemonis had to hit the transfer portal hard this offseason to replace a ton of lost talent from the 2024 squad and continue building momentum after making a regional. Lemonis already has four hitters from the portal, and the focus seems to be on guys who do not strike out much and are versatile. However, the Bulldogs had not added a pitcher, even with the success that MSU pitching coach Justin Parker had this past season with his staff, but the...

100 Day Bulldog Countdown: 60 Days - Remembering the life of Tom Goode
Jeff Lebby’s era of Mississippi State football has arrived. The Bulldogs are on their third coach in as many years as Mike Leach’s tragic passing opened the door for defensive coordinator Zach Arnett’s debut as head coach last year. That experiment failed before the year even ended for State and now it’s Lebby’s turn to take the wheel.
