Clemson’s Dockside awarded during Texas meeting
Clemson’s large Dockside project of apartment living and commercial space received an innovator’s award during the Student Housing Business annual meeting in Austin, Texas. Dockside covers more than 22 thousand square feet of property abutting Lake Hartwell at the bridge into Oconee County. The Dockside partners –the builder, the architects, and the bankers – developed the project in a way to offer an upscale living experience alongside the lake, dock access to which is provided. The LLC Fountain Residential Partners is a privately-held Dallas company whose official Brent Little is behind plans to build apparently similar housing on the Oconee County side on 123 between Bojangles and the former Paws Restaurant.
