Sam Hartman blows off steam, finally beats Clemson
Former Wake Forest and Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman was one of the best under center during his college career. Still, that talent couldn’t help him take down the Tigers. Hartman went 0-4 against the Tigers during his Wake Forest career. Some games were close, while others, like 2018’s 63-3, were not. Hartman couldn’t get it done against Clemson in the ACC with the Demon Deacons, but he did get another opportunity at a different school. Transferring to Notre Dame for his fifth year, Hartman and the Fighting Irish had high expectations. With one more opportunity to take down the Tigers, Hartman couldn’t get the job done, losing 31-23 on the road. Hartman completed 13-30 passes for 146 yards and two interceptions in the matchup. A rough showing for the star quarterback. With the release of the new EA Sports College Football 25 game, Hartman saw his opportunity to beat Clemson and took advantage. Let out that steam, Sam. We understand. Just blowing off some steam… 😅😂 @EASPORTSCollege pic.twitter.com/XR406xjLMR — Sam Hartman (@sam_hartman10) July 16, 2024
