Since July 15, law enforcement in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee led the annual “Operation Southern Slow Down.” This week, there will be an increase in presence on the roads to cut back on speeding.
3 taken to the hospital after truck crashes into house in Gaffney, officials say
GAFFNEY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Cherokee County Emergency Management said three people were taken to the hospital after a truck crashed into a house in Gaffney on Wednesday. Highway Patrol said a flatbed truck was pulling a trailer on I-85 when the driver lost control, hitting another pickup truck. The driver then ran off the right side of the road, through a fence and into the house of Overbrook Drive.

Shortly before 4 PM today, July 17, Toccoa Chief of Police Jimmy Mize just advised WNEG News that the second individual being sought in connection to the gunfire yesterday at Regency on W.
