Council tables West Lowell property sales
(Shenandoah) -- Proposed sales of at least two Shenandoah city-owned properties are on hold. By unanimous votes, the Shenandoah City Council Tuesday night tabled discussion on the sales of 1115 and 1117 West Lowell Avenue to Pierre Taylor for $20 each. Taylor outlined plans for housing development on both properties during public hearings. Taylor's proposal for 1115 West Lowell Avenue calls for construction of a three-bedroom, one bath structure for occupancy by August 1st, 2026. Taylor describes the proposed house as a bungalow-type structure, with a sale price of around $200,000.
