A New Lifestyle at a Riverside Campground
Sheila Cook and her husband, James, purchased Gasconade Hills Resort in Richland, Missouri, in 2021. “My husband served in the U.S. Air Force for more than 20 years before he retired. We lived in California, and I worked in the public sector in health care. When he retired, he also worked in health care. We both did that for about 10 years or so,” Sheila says. “After COVID, we decided to sell everything and buy a campground. So, that’s what we did. We moved to Missouri in 2021.”
Chiefs’ training camp observations from Tuesday’s Day 3
On Tuesday morning, the Kansas City Chiefs returned to their field at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph for another practice of the team’s 2024 training camp. Sidney council hears plan for street closures, parking restrictions during Rodeo Days
(Sidney) -- Fremont County law enforcement officials hope to remedy some issues with street closures during Sidney Rodeo Days next weekend. During the Sidney City Council meeting, Fremont County Sheriff Deputy Andrew Wake provided an update on how they plan to enforce the street closures for the Sidney Rodeo Days parade on August 3rd and street parking in busy streets throughout next week. Wake says one of the main issues involved cars remaining parked on the square along the parade route, which he adds can quickly turn into a safety issue.
