Westby/Coon Valley holds on for a 4-2 win over Onalaska Post 336

Multiple area teams were competing in Viroqua for their annual Legion Baseball Tournament.

Westby/Coon Valley was facing off against Onalaska Post 336 for the first game of the evening on July 5th.

The teams would trade a run in the first inning, followed by another Onalaska run in the top of the second after the pitcher balked with a runner on third.

Westby/Coon Valley would answer in the bottom of the second as a misque from the Onalaska defense would tie the game at 2.

In the 5th inning, Westby/Coon Valley's Drew Butzler would step in with the bases loaded. Butzler hit a chopper to third base, but after another Onalaska error, two runs would come into score to take a 4-2 lead.

Devin Nedland would throw a complete game as Westby/Coon Valley takes the win 4-2.
