Coloff Media Mason City Adds Bob Fisher Following Alpha Exit
Fisher served as News Director for Alpha’s Mason City cluster until being part of the company’s on-going talent purge. He will begin his duties with Coloff Media’s Mason City duo in August interviewing local newsmakers for on-air and online reports and serving as play-by-play voice for Clear Lake High School sports on KLKK.

FEMA teams are expected in Le Mars soon, to assess flood damage. This is Fire Rescue Chief Dave Schipper. They will also discuss ways to prevent future flood damages. One other note from Schipper flood report to the city council. He said at no time was the city’s water supply in danger. Schipper received several calls from people concerned about shutting off water because of the flood. He says Le Mars’ water source is safe from floods and at no time was it in danger.

The Le Mars Community baseball team got a potential taste of what their tournament opener will look like taking down Sioux Center on the road by a score of 10-2. Knowing that the Warriors and Bulldogs would meet in a week and a half to start the tournament certainly made the regular season matchup a little more interesting. Le Mars head coach Trent Eckstaine says the goal of the contest was to send a message that the tournament trail will be tough for the opponent.
