Trader Joe’s to open new store in Westminster: City

DENVER (KDVR) — The City of Westminster announced Tuesday that Trader Joe’s has signed a lease to open a new store in the city.

The new Trader Joe’s would be located at Westminster City Center, a shopping mall at 92nd Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard. It will be located in an existing vacant building, meaning the company will not need to build a new structure.

According to the city, it is expected to open in late 2025.

The store will be just over 25,000 square feet and will be located alongside existing stores like Barnes & Noble, Ulta Beauty and DSW.

Other nearby grocery stores include a Walmart Supercenter and a Costco.

It will also be the 11th Trader Joe’s in Colorado and the seventh in the Denver metro area. The company opened its first three stores in the state in February 2014.
