WARSAW, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas family’s boating trip ended with serious injury on the Fourth of July after one man was hit by a propeller at Lake of the Ozarks. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that just before 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, emergency crews were called to mile marker 36 on the Osage arm of Lake of the Ozarks with reports of a boating accident.

Manhattan, Kan. - Officers filed a report of an injury accident in the 200 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. on July 3, 2024, at approximately 12:06 PM. Officers listed a 30-year-old male as the victim when it was reported he was struck by a vehicle in a parking lot. The victim was transported to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka by EMS for non life-threatening injuries.
