Rome residents can soon apply for money from $1 million-plus recovery fund
Rome, N.Y. — Rome residents harmed by severe thunderstorms and a tornado that plowed through the city last week can soon apply to a recovery fund, officials said. About $175,000 has already been raised for the Rome Victims Recovery Fund, according to Anthony Picente Jr., the Oneida County executive. The county plans to contribute $1 million, he said.

Well, it is finally finished and the day has come where the general public now has a better option for parking in Downtown Utica. MVHS and Wynn Hospital employees have already been allowed to park their vehicles in the newly constructed parking complex adjacent to the downtown health center campus, however the time has come for everyone to have their chance. As the city of Rome continues to recover following the E-F2 tornado that tore through the town last week, local officials are starting to think about rebuilding.
