N.Y. weather: Organized showers, thunderstorms headed to NYC
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Islanders can expect to see scattered thunderstorms in the forecast for the next few days before the sun comes out for the weekend. National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologist Bill Goodman said the radar indicates Staten Island should be in the clear until later Monday, as most of the storms are currently north, near Bergen and Rochester counties.
