    WESTON – The WEA Member Benefits Foundation, Inc. announced a $20,000 grant to support the D.C. Everest Area Public School District’s comprehensive mental health program at a recent D.C. Everest Area School Board meeting.

    This grant shines a spotlight on the crucial role of mental health support within educational settings, and will enable the district to:

    • Cover mental health counseling and therapy costs for uninsured or under-insured students.
    • Provide mental health professional development sessions for district staff.
    • Support programs of the Marathon County School Counseling Consortium.
