Sarahan Dust overhead for the weekend
SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - A large area of dust from the Sahara moves overhead this weekend. That could give us a hazy overcast again and could have some impact on weekend rainfall. Fortunately, the dust will keep the tropics quiet for several days. As the dust layer dissipates during the workweek, a small disturbance in the upper atmosphere moves over Florida. That disturbance could make afternoon and evening storms more widespread during the week ahead.
