CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. ( WETM ) — Chemung County is currently selling old police vehicles, heavy machinery, and other surplus items through online auctions.

Chemung County is auctioning off its surplus items through Auctions International, and its items for sale are grouped into four separate auctions. Bidding opened up on May 14 and will end at about 6 p.m. on May 23.

All items in the auctions are being sold as-is. People interested in the items must make an account on Auctions International’s website , and new users will have to pay a one-time $10 fee. Successful bidders are responsible for picking up the items they purchase and for paying a buyer premium and sales tax.
