    Millerton man sentenced on drug charges

    MILLERTON, Pa. ( WETM ) – A Millerton man has been sentenced to serve at least two years in prison on drug charges in Bradford County.

    According to the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office, Earl E. Moretz Jr., 48, was sentenced to serve a minimum of 25 months to a maximum of 72 months in state prison for the crimes of possession with intent to deliver meth (two counts) and possession of a controlled substance.

    Moretz’s charges stem from an investigation by various law enforcement personnel, which eventually led to his arrest. Moretz was charged in March of 2023 after drugs were found at his home in Wells Township while a search warrant was being executed.

    Moretz was later charged by the Bradford County Drug Task Force, Pennsylvania State Trooper Nathan Lewis and Bradford County Detective Michael Lamanna in December 2023 and January 2024 for the other offenses.
