    Convicted Waverly man on the run after not reporting for sentencing

    WAVERLY, N.Y. ( WETM ) — A Valley man is on the run after not reporting for sentencing for a crime he was convicted of that happened in October 2023 involving the overdose of an infant.

    According to the Waverly Police Department, 49-year-old Timothy Ronald Henry is wanted by police after he failed to show up to his sentencing on Thursday, Aug. 22.

    Corning man arrested on possession of child sexual abuse materials charges

    Police said that an active bench warrant is out for Henry’s arrest after he was convicted for his actions involving a fentanyl overdose of an infant on October 13, 2023.

    Police said the infant survived the overdose and that Henry was recently convicted of assault in the third degree, two counts of reckless endangerment in the second degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.

    If anyone has information on Henry’s whereabouts they are asked to call the Waverly Police Department at 607-565-2836.
