HORSEHEADS, N.Y. ( WETM ) – A Horseheads woman has been arrested after she was found with two warrants out for arrest, one being from Horseheads and another in Bradford County, Pennsylvania.

According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, Kirstian S. Decker, 28, was arrested as a fugitive from justice out of the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for a petition to revoke parole/probation from a previous charge.

Deputies say that Decker was arrested after she was found in the City of Elmira on Aug. 22 with an active warrant out of the Horseheads Town Court for failure to appear on the charge of petit larceny. At this time, Decker was also found to be a fugitive out of Pennsylvania for the above-listed reason.

The Criminal Investigations Division received the warrant from Bradford County, which requested that Decker be held on the warrant. She was then arrested and processed as a fugitive from justice.

Decker had her charges read to her for both warrants in Horseheads Town Court and was then returned to the Chemung County Jail, where she awaits extradition to Pennsylvania.
