    Maintenance project continues along Bradford County roads

    BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. ( WETM ) — People traveling through Bradford County might experience some delays as PennDOT continues a maintenance project.

    According to PennDOT, crews began applying herbicide along roads in Pike, Warren, Orwell, and Windham townships on Saturday, Aug. 17, and Sunday, Aug. 18, and they’ll continue doing so on Saturday, Aug. 24, and Sunday, Aug. 25.

    The following roads are part of the herbicide spraying project:

    • Route 1030: Woodland Lake Road (Pike and Warren)
    • Route 1038: Warren Center Road (Warren)
    • Route 1032: Lake of Meadows Road (Warren)
    • Route 1047: Little Meadows Road and Jackson Valley Road (Warren)
    • Route 1049: Leraysville Road (Pike, Warren, and Windham)
    • Route 1051: Gulf Road (Orwell and Warren)
    • Route 1053: Sugar Cabin Road (Orwell and Warren)
    • Route 1059: Irish Hill Road, Casterline Road, Painter Road (Warren)
    • Route 1079: Coburn Hill Road (Warren)
    • Route 1036: Orwell Hill Road (Orwell)
    • Route 1042: Captain Moore Road (Orwell and Windham)

    The roads will either be reduced to one lane with flaggers directing traffic or have shoulder closures in areas where crews are working. Work will only be performed during daylight hours.

    Motorists should be alert, slow down, and be prepared for travel delays when traveling through this portion of Bradford County during the herbicide project.
