VIDEO: Funnel cloud spotted above Florida beach

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A video shared on social media shows a funnel cloud forming above a South Florida beach on Sunday as weather warnings from the National Weather Service (NWS) affect the Sunshine State.

The video shared by user Steven Tacle on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, captures the funnel cloud in the sky over Pompano Beach on Sunday morning.

The NWS said the weather in parts of coastal Florida is expected to last through Sunday night.

The NWS also confirmed a waterspout near its office in Jacksonville on Sunday morning.
