    Body of man found in Caldwell Woods

    CHICAGO — The body of a man was found early Tuesday morning in the Caldwell Woods Forest Preserve.

    Detectives responded to the forest preserve, located near Milwaukee and Devon, shortly after 6 a.m.

    A 54-year-old man was found dead in the forest preserve and a death investigation is underway.

    The cause and manner of death are pending at this time and the Cook County Sheriff’s Office is the lead investigating agency.

    Police said there is no danger to the public.
