BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A survey about negative concert behaviors ranks Louisiana as having the second most rowdy concertgoers.

In Louisiana, an average of 12.1 behaviors out of the 23 most annoying can be experienced while watching live music. Data showed that the most common annoying trait likely to happen at a concert in Louisiana is filming or taking pictures of the show and obstructing other fans’ view of the stage. Sixty-seven percent of concertgoers experienced this.

The top five overall most annoying behaviors at concerts identified in the survey are people standing in seated seats, pushing and shoving to get to the front, blocking the view of the stage by holding a sign, sitting on shoulders, and overly intoxicated people.

The state in the No. 1 spot, Wisconsin, has an average of 13.1. Oklahoma ranked No. 3, Massachusetts and Minnesota tied at No. 4 and New Mexico ranked No. 5.

According to the study, people in Louisiana are more likely to spend $156 to see their favorite artist.
