New dining options are headed to The Forum Peachtree Corners .

Golestan aims to bring a “sophisticated yet approachable” option for Persian cuisine to the mixed-use destination.

The 5,175-square-foot space was formerly occupied by California Pizza Kitchen . Golestan, which translates to “flower or rose garden,” will embrace “the rich traditions of Persian hospitality,” drawing inspiration from ancient Persian architecture and culture in its design.

Golestan comes from the Naraghi family, co-owners of El Valle in Midtown, and Jamshad “Jaamy Zarnegar , the owner of Kitty Dare in Inman Park.

The restaurant will feature an open kitchen and emphasize high-quality ingredients and a sophisticated presentation of the dishes. It will also feature an international wine program curated by Zarnegar.

Additional details about the restaurant, including an opening timeline, will be shared in the coming weeks, according to an announcement.

Golestan is one of two new restaurants recently announced for The Forum Peachtree Corners; a new sushi concept from Chef Ranno Wuyan called Sei Ryu is also coming to the development. The high-end Japanese restaurant will specialize in appetizers and sushi, including omakase service, available by reservation. It will feature four distinct dining areas: a cocktail bar, a sushi bar, an indoor dining room and rooftop patio.

The Forum Peachtree Corners originally opened in 2002. It now has office space and nearly 70 retailers, restaurants and service providers, with more on the way. North American Properties has signed new leases with several brands, including J.Crew Factory (opening in October) and LaserAway . Sandie Cappai , owner of local home goods store Cappai Designs , has also signed a six-month license agreement to open a pop-up at The Forum in September.

A food hall coming to the development, Politan Row at The Forum , is set to feature 26 Thai Kitchen & Bar , Gekko Kitchen and Sheesh Mediterranean .

The Forum Peachtree Corners is being redeveloped by Nuveen Real Estate and North American Properties, whose Atlanta branch was recently acquired by Jamestown .

North American Properties and Nuveen Real Estate hosted a community celebration last week unveiling the newest amenities at The Forum. The event raised nearly $7,000 for Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries , a local nonprofit dedicated to providing families in need with emergency assistance.

The event showcased the development’s new 6,650-square-foot Plaza, which features a raised performance stage, an LED screen, soft seating and tables and an optional valet service area.
