According to a recently filed permit, the Lucky’s Market in Clintonville located at 2770 N High St will receive some tenant improvements that are projected to cost $100,000, per the permit documents. As detailed in a set of architectural plans attached to the permit filing that have been viewed by What Now Columbus , the location has an existing area dedicated to offering a number of grab and go fast casual options like made to order sandwiches and pizza.

While the prepared foods area doesn’t appear to be undergoing any changes, per the language found within the permit, some of the improvements set to happen at the store include the demolition of existing fixtures, a wall addition and related mechanical, electrical and plumbing work.

The store’s prepared food offerings include a salad bar, sushi, pizza, roasted meats, subs and soups. In addition to the prepared foods, the Lucky’s Market also features an in store meat and seafood counter, produce and dried goods, along with selling a selection of beer and wines.

Lucky’s Market is a supermarket brand that originated in Colorado in the early 2000s, and in 2020, the family-owned, Ohio based Dave’s Markets bought the Ohio Lucky’s Market stores in Columbus and Cleveland. The vice president Aaron Saltzman is the fifth generation owner and operator of the Ohio grocery stores, according to information found on the Lucky’s Market website.
