A new restaurant and social house is coming to Downtown Dexter. 42 North Social House will fill the vacant space that once belonged to Fillmore Bar and Grill at 7954 Ann Arbor St . This story was also reported by MLive .

The property has sat vacant since Fillmore’s closure in December. Now, a new business is in the progress of bringing life back to the building. According to the resturant website , 42 North Social House will feature a wide selection of bourbons and distinguishable dishes curated by chef John Fisher using locally sourced ingredients. The menu offers a full range of options including shared plates, soups and salads, sandwiches, pastas, and entries. The restaurant will serve brunch, dinner, and a happy hour menu.

“Welcome to 42 North Social House, Dexter’s premier destination for connecting with friends & family, experiencing new & exciting cuisine and sipping on carefully chosen beverage selections all in the heart of downtown,” states the website.

It appears owner Andrew Copp is also working on specials and social events, although interested parties will need to sign up to their mailing list to receive future updates. What Now Detroit reached out to Copp but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
