Waldo’s Chicken and Beer will be opening this fall at 7238 Nolensville Rd. The team is anticipating a November opening, according to a release.

The new location will be the eighth location in Tennessee for Waldo’s since CEO Mark Waldo first opened it in 2019 in conjunction with Fresh Hospitality . Three of those locations are in Nashville, one is in Franklin, one is in Brentwood and one is in Cool Springs. The other Tennessee location is in Cordova.

“This will be our fourth location in Williamson County, and [it] is further testament to the growing demand for our scratch-made food,” Waldo said in a release. “We’re eager to become an integral part of the growing Nolensville community. We were drawn to Nolensville because it has a strong community feel and appreciation for really good food served in a relaxed environment. We look forward to getting to know our new neighbors, being part of this tight-knit community and offering them the same exceptional food and service in an approachable, family-friendly setting that our loyal customers have come to love.”

Waldo’s has also expanded to other states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi and Oklahoma. There are currently 20 locations, according to the Waldo’s website.

Waldo’s is known for its fried chicken offerings, with menu items such as hand-breaded chicken tenders, fried chicken sandwiches and fried chicken plates. It also serves salads and snacks such as cheddar biscuit baskets and loaded nachos. The Waldo’s team makes all the dishes in the kitchen daily, from the hand-cut fries to the sauces.

The new location is expected to seat 80 guests, feature a covered and heated patio area and offer a full bar. It will also have a drive-thru and curbside pickup options.
