Phin Caphe Will Soon Debut a Second Location in Beaverton

According to a recent article from Everout , Phin Caphe has announced a new location is on its way to Beaverton.

“We don’t currently have a goal opening date that’s specific yet, we’re still getting things ready. Our overall goal will be towards late May or early June. We want to introduce the Vietnamese coffee experience to the Beaverton community,” co-owner Ann Duong told What Now Portland .

“Phin Caphe will have a warm and comfortable environment where everybody is welcome. My sister, Chloe, and I are both co-owners and managers. We’ve grown up with Vietnamese coffee culture and missed that experience, and that’s why we want to create a space to connect with the Vietnamese community and expand our audience.”

“We opened in 2022 for the first location, and now we want to open a second store so people in Beaverton can easily access our coffee. We’re excited to serve Beaverton and collaborate with local vendors for future events and workshops. Stay tuned for merch!”

According to an Instagram post from Phin Caphe, the new location will be at 3905 SW 117th Ave. In the company’s biography section, it is stated that the Beaverton location will open in the summer of 2024.

An article from Willamette Week written in 2022 states, “Phin Caphe gets its name from the Vietnamese phin, a traditional filter used to make cà phê sua dá—extremely strong and smooth dark roast drip coffee, which serves as the base for many of the shop’s drinks.”

“The small kitchen at Phin Caphe is also pumping out a couple of excellent Vietnamese street food options, with bánh tráng trộn ($11, $17), a rice paper salad, being the specialty of the house.”

“The dizzyingly complex and flavorful dish includes threads of dry rice paper, peanuts, hard-boiled egg, crispy shrimp, fried red onion, mango, beef jerky, sa te (lemongrass chile sauce), and your choice of beef jerk or pork belly (opt for the gems of crispy pork).”
