Blue Hawk football sets coaching staff for 2024 season
Dickinson State head football coach Pete Stanton has announced additions and changes to the Dickinson State football coaching staff for the 2024 season. Derick VandeBossche, who was with program as both a player and a coach, has resigned to take a position in the private sector. VandeBosschee was a player at DSU from 2015 to 2019 where he was named All-American his senior year. He coached both the safeties and special teams from 2020 to 2023.
Bismarck hospitals and clinics deal with post-flood water damage
BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Hospitals and clinics are dealing with water damage after the severe flooding in Bismarck on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Essentia Health said there’s minor water damage at its 9th Street location, and walk-in care services were closed for about two hours. They are open now.

Canadian wildfire smoke to trigger air quality alert
(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency says parts of northwest Minnesota will be affected by Canadian wildfire smoke this week.
