CROWN POINT, Ind. - A 31-year-old Crown Point man was arrested on Wednesday after crashing his truck on Interstate 65 and allegedly being found with fentanyl and other drugs. The incident began when Indiana State Police spotted a red Dodge pickup truck crash into the center median wall on I-65 near the 257-mile marker, just south of Ridge Road.
Lake Station Man Charged With Multiple Felonies Including Rape

Dozens Charged in Overnight Weekend Patrol Effort by the Lowell Post
This past weekend, Indiana State Troopers from the Lowell Post had a busy late shift (6p-6a). Troopers were focused on criminal and traffic activity on I-80. As a result of their efforts, 50 criminal arrests were recorded, with 18 of those being individuals charged with Reckless Driving as a result of their dangerous high speed while driving on I-80/94. Eight individuals were arrested for Operating While Intoxicated. Troopers were also involved in four vehicle pursuits which are also accounted for in the arrest total.
